Surviving Quarantine

On the morning of June 15th, my bags were packed, apartment cleaned and headed off the airport. I figured still the air transport have grounded, check-in should be a breeze right? Boy was I wrong. it was way longer than I expected.
Finally, I arrived in my homeland only to be whisked away to a government quarantine facility in a full police/army entourage to spend the next fourteen days. Here are my tips to survive quarantine:
- Bring snacks. If your quarantine facility provides meals like that one I'm in, you'll definitely need snacks between your meals.
- Avoid boredom. Quarantine is a very controlled environment, so you may be required to spend most of your day in your room. I packed some books, my current crochet project and my adult colouring books so that I don't lose my mind when I've watched all of Netflix.
- Stay in touch with family and friends. You won't believe how important those calls keep you grounded during this lonely experience.
- Most importantly, Stay positive!
